Is it 'last orders' for the post-work drink?

With four generations in the workplace, socialising with booze might be becoming a thing of the past – but Gen Z isn't to blame.

The think tank Work Foundation has just published recommendations on how to nurture inclusive and healthy workplace cultures…

 

It claims that there has been a shift in recent years in attitudes towards the appropriateness of centring workplace social activities outside working hours or around the consumption of alcohol.

 

So expect more virtual celebrations, sober socialising, meeting for breakfast and away-days - as well as staff training on the health risks linked to alcohol consumption.
